FICS Tournaments
The Nightly 5 0 tourney runs every day at 19:00 server
time. To join the nightly, look out for the mamer announcements,
make sure you have mam set tourneyinfo on. Then simply type
mam j # where # is the number of the tourney: mamer will
issue instructions on how to start your games from
there on.
The Tourney for All Seasons is a permanent series of tournaments, played
on FICS. All matches will be 4 0, played each Wednesday on FICS at 13:15
server time. There will be a Season Champ, and an overall champ. Also,
a permanent rating list will be calculated, including each and every
game played in TAS. It's well worth a look, check it out!
The Lunchtime Suicide Chess tournament, which is played on FICS at
1:00pm central European time (04:00 server time) each Tuesday, is one
of the most popular events! Make sure to stop in & have a look!
A new tournament has begun! It will be held on Saturdays at 5:00. This
awesome chess marathon is a 3 0 SS - times 5! We can't wait to check it
out - how about you?! ;)
Chess Battle is a unique weekly on-line tournament event with amazing
prizes and features that will change your world! Or at least that's what
it says on the web site... ;)
It starts every Monday at 13:00 FICS server time. Even
though there are prizes, entry is completely free! Complete details,
all the news, discussions, stats, results, cool prizes and, and, and

Prizes are given out every week and include great instructional chess
eBooks, videos, and more.
